Day 1Meet in New Delhi

The students are met at the Delhi Railway station (Paharganj) Enquiry counter at 0430pm, travel by train overnight journey to Rishikesh.

    • Acclimatization trek to Deoriatal: Hike to the picturesque Deoriatal Lake, surrounded by lush forests and snow-capped peaks. Enjoy a packed lunch amidst the stunning scenery.
    • Return to the campsite in the evening, feeling refreshed and acclimatized.

  • An early breakfast fuels your trek to Chandrashila Peak.
  • Hike approximately 5 km to reach the peak at an elevation of 14,500 ft, passing through Tungnath.
  • Witness breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas from the summit.
  • Descend to Chopta and unwind for the evening, savoring the accomplishment of the day.

Day 07Farwell to the Himalayas

  • Enjoy a final breakfast at the campsite in Ukhimath.
  • Board a chartered vehicle for the journey to Haridwar, arriving by 3 pm.
  • Immerse yourself in the spiritual heart of India:
    • Visit Mansa Devi Temple, a Hindu pilgrimage site perched on a hilltop.
    • Witness the evening Ganga Aarti ceremony, a mesmerizing display of devotion along the banks of the Ganges River.
    • Savor dinner before boarding an overnight train to Delhi.
