Who Can Climb?
Climbing Mount Aconcagua demands unwavering resolve and meticulous preparation. While non-technical in nature, the sheer altitude, fierce winds, and rugged terrain present formidable challenges unlike any other. To ensure a safe and successful climb, aspiring adventurers must meet the following prerequisites:
Physical Fitness: Exceptional physical fitness is imperative. Rigorous, mountaineering-specific training spanning 8-12 months is essential. Climbers must comfortably trek 6-8 hours a day with a 10-15 kg backpack.
