1:30 PM: Arrival at Belum Caves

  • On arrival, have lunch at a nearby restaurant or packed lunch if preferred.

2:30 PM: Exploration of Belum Caves

  • Start your guided tour of Belum Caves. The exploration typically takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. The caves are well-lit, and pathways have been established for easy access to visitors. Some of the key highlights inside the caves include:

    • Simhadwaram: The entrance of the cave, resembling a lion’s head.
    • Kotilingalu Chamber: A section with thousands of stalagmite formations resembling lingams.
    • Patalaganga: An underground stream that is considered sacred.
    • Saptaswarala Guha: A chamber where rocks produce musical notes when struck.

4:30 PM: Relaxation and Photography

  • After the cave tour, relax in the surrounding area. There’s a large Buddha statue near the entrance of the caves, which is another great spot for photography.
