Discover the Enigmatic Beauty of India’s North East

Embark on a captivating journey through one of India’s least explored yet most enchanting regions, the North East. Nestled in the furthest corners of the country, this area is a rich tapestry of rugged landscapes, vibrant tribal cultures, and mesmerizing natural beauty. Sharing borders with five countries, the North East offers dramatic vistas, exotic cuisines, and a sense of adventure like no other. Our expedition will take us through the states of Assam and Meghalaya, each with its unique charm.

Destination Highlights:

Assam: We begin our adventure in Guwahati, the bustling capital of Assam. From here, we venture into the heart of Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its sprawling grasslands and marshes. This park is home to the majestic one-horned rhinos, wild buffaloes, and an array of wildlife. The park’s diverse ecosystems offer ample opportunities for wildlife spotting and experiencing the natural splendor of the region.

Meghalaya: Our journey continues into Meghalaya, aptly named ‘the abode of the clouds.’ This state is renowned for its spectacular landscapes, including lush hills, cascading waterfalls, and living root bridges. We will explore the pristine village of Mawlynnong, acclaimed as the cleanest village in Asia, and take a canoe ride on the tranquil waters of Dawki, right on the border with Bangladesh. The heavy rainfall in Meghalaya gives rise to stunning natural features such as the double-decker root bridges and the breathtaking Nohkalikai Falls, the highest plunge waterfall in India.
