Conservation Leader- Nature Admire

Job Profile

We are in search of a passionate and experienced Conservation Leader to lead our conservation and outreach initiatives. As the Conservation Leader, you will oversee a team of volunteers and collaborate with community leaders to engage participants, sponsors, and the public in our flagship conservation activities.

Responsibilities

Conservation and Outreach Programs:

  • Develop and implement engaging and impactful conservation programs, including:
    • Seed Bank Management and Propagation
    • Tree Planting and Habitat Restoration Initiatives
    • Relife: Paper Recycling and Sustainable Waste Management Workshops (Urban & Enterprise Focus)
    • Trail Cleaning and Maintenance Projects
  • Design educational activities for children at institutions and community centers.
  • Organize conferences and discussions on relevant wildlife, environmental conservation, and native species issues.
  • Integrate sustainable practices within Nature Admire’s operations.

Leadership and Engagement:

  • Lead, motivate, and train a team of volunteers for successful program execution.
  • Establish strong relationships with community leaders, schools, and environmental organizations.
  • Engage Nature Admire participants in conservation activities, fostering a sense of environmental responsibility.
  • Secure sponsorships for conservation programs through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
  • Generate funding proposals and reports to secure funding for conservation projects.
  • Identify and recognize “True Eco Warriors” amongst volunteers and participants, honoring their contributions.

Communication and Reporting:

  • Develop and maintain clear communication channels with stakeholders (volunteers, sponsors, community leaders, participants).
  • Prepare comprehensive reports documenting the impact and outcomes of conservation programs.

Qualifications

  1. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in environmental conservation or related field.
  2. Proven experience in developing and managing successful conservation programs.
  3. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Excellent grant writing and fundraising abilities.
  5. Experience working with volunteers and community groups.
  6. Passion for environmental education and outreach.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  9. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting software.
