Business Development & Vendor Management Specialist – Nature Admire

Job Summary

As a Business Development & Vendor Management Specialist at Nature Admire, you’ll be at the forefront of forging strategic partnerships with service providers, including campsites, homestays, resorts, hotels, caravans, food suppliers, transportation companies, and providers of ancillary products in adventure sports and sustainable goods. Your role will not only involve identifying and onboarding new partners but also nurturing these relationships to drive sustainable growth for both our organization and our partners. You’ll embody our commitment to environmental stewardship and ethical business practices while playing a vital role in expanding our network and enhancing our offerings.

Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Partnership Development:

    • Identify and engage with potential service providers aligned with Nature Admire’s ethos of sustainability and environmental conservation.
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to onboard campsites, homestays, resorts, hotels, caravans, food suppliers, transportation companies, and providers of ancillary products.
    • Cultivate long-term partnerships that deliver mutual value and contribute to our mission of promoting responsible travel and adventure experiences.
  2. Vendor Onboarding & Management:

    • Lead the onboarding process for new service providers, guiding them through our sustainability requirements, contractual agreements, and operational standards.
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries, negotiations, and issue resolution.
    • Regularly evaluate vendor performance and compliance with contractual obligations, providing feedback and support as needed to ensure alignment with Nature Admire’s standards.
  3. Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification:

    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and new opportunities for partnership and growth.
    • Stay informed about industry developments, regulatory changes, and consumer preferences related to adventure travel, sustainable tourism, and eco-friendly products.
    • Translate insights into actionable strategies to enhance Nature Admire’s offerings and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  4. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:

    • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless integration of new partners and offerings.
    • Provide cross-functional support to optimize processes, streamline workflows, and enhance the overall efficiency of vendor management operations.
    • Act as a liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders, facilitating communication and alignment on key initiatives and priorities.
  5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting:

    • Monitor key performance metrics related to vendor relationships, including revenue generation, customer satisfaction, and sustainability impact.
    • Generate regular reports and analyses to track progress against goals, identify areas for improvement, and inform strategic decision-making.
    • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize vendor partnerships, drive revenue growth, and enhance the overall quality of Nature Admire’s offerings.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience 0f 3 years & above in business development, vendor management, or partnership management roles within the travel, hospitality, or outdoor recreation industries.
  3. Deep understanding of sustainable tourism principles, environmental conservation practices, and ethical business standards.
  4. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to build consensus and drive mutually beneficial agreements with diverse stakeholders.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for fostering positive relationships.
  6. Strategic thinker with analytical prowess, capable of identifying opportunities, solving complex problems, and driving results in a dynamic environment.
  7. Proficiency in project management tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
